Sifr Data (pronounced ˈsīfər like the word cipher) was created by Basil Bayati, an applied mathematician. Basil’s research interests are in stochastic processes & simulations, polynomial chaos & uncertainty quantification, and fractional diffusion. He has published scientific articles in Physical Review E., The Journal of Chemical Physics and The Journal of Computational Physics. Basil earned his Ph.D. in Computational Science from ETH Zürich.
